Medical Datasheets typeset in 4 languages

We often work with a team of graphic designers who recently asked us to typeset some of their designs of data sheets for a medical centre of excellence. The files were translated using CAT tools which mean that the translators could import an .idml file containing the source text and translate within the CAT tool environment. This helped to not only speed up the process, but also ensured that terminology remained consistent across all of the data sheets.

These were formal documents that were to be published in the public domain, so it was essential that the content was correct and that the original design was reproduced in the foreign language. The resulting data sheets enabled our client to promote their medical practices with confidence to a foreign audience.
